Welcome to Seligman Massage!
Due to the extended stay of COVID-19, I am continuing to take extra precautions and sanitary measures to keep us both safe. I am still limiting my clients to two or three per day.
I am professional massage therapist specializing in deep tissue massage, injury rehabilitation, cupping and health coaching. Health coaching includes a health risk assessment and review, a health improvement plan specific to you, goal setting and accountability.
As a massage therapist, I strive to quickly and accurately identify the source of your pain and then to treat it properly and effectively. I am highly trained in multiple modalities, ensuring that I have the skills necessary to help alleviate your body’s tension and pain. I know the same therapy isn’t right for every client, so I take the time to go over your history and tailor a session that meets your specific needs.
I am able to do a relaxing full-body session or focused treatment on specific problem areas, devoting the time, attention, and expertise needed to provide real relief.
I provide a clean, safe, comfortable environment that accords you and your body the stress-free, healing space required for wellness. If my pressure isn’t ‘just right’, please let me know.

Therapeutic massage releases chronic muscle tension, using deliberate strokes and direct pressure. When muscles are stressed, they block the flow of oxygen and nutrients, leading to inflammation that builds up toxins in the muscle tissue. A massage helps loosen muscle tissues, release toxins, and restores proper blood and oxygen circulation. It's important to drink plenty of water before and after a therapeutic session to help flush the toxins out of the body.
Cupping therapy involves creating a suction force on the skin, pulling toxins to the surface giving your lymphatic system a chance to eliminate it. The benefits of cupping include local pain relief and muscle relaxation. Cupping is said to improve overall health. For athletes, cupping may help increase blood flow and reduce recovery and pain. Cupping can leave round red or purplish marks that will fade in a few days or at most a couple weeks.
Whether you’re an elite athlete or “weekend warrior”, sports massage is an important part of your healthcare regimen. Sports massage prevents injuries and loss of mobility, helps heal and restore mobility to injured muscle tissue, and boosts performance. Physically, sport massage flushes out toxins and waste products and helps oxygen and nutrients flow, helping tissues to recover more quickly.
We provide sport-specific therapies as well as information about avoiding injury and maximizing performance through stretching routines, home therapies, and improved body awareness. If you are training for an event, we will develop a treatment plan to ensure your body is ready on race day. If you receive regular sports massages while active, you will extend your sporting career.
Health coaching is a relationship between client and coach with the objectives of assisting the client with achieving their health goals. After a health risk assessment and review we will develop a health improvement plan. In person, Facetime/Zoom or phone sessions are thirty minutes and include two follow-ups. Prioritize Prevention!
